The CC Smugglers are based in a cabin situated in Nowhere, The Back End Of, in the Deep South (East) of England. Whilst once the rolling hills and fields that surround their headquarters would have gently swayed to the sounds of Celtic folk and Morris-dancing, over the past year the surroundings are being shaken by an altogether different racket.
Isolated from the booming car stereos and internet trends of the modern world, the cabin shakes with the sounds of blues, soul, country, bluegrass and rock n roll at all hours of the day and night, a small slice of Americana in the seat of middle England.
Pitched somewhere between the earnest, hard nature of the early bluesmen and the badass excess of the outlaw country scene, CC Smugglers have been wowing audiences for the past year of their short existence, and will soon be adding a town near you to their list of conquests.
